I have just added links to the new knives from the Fixed Blade Page. These links include the new BHK Hunters, the knives of Todd Grimm and some of mine as well.
After the loss of Crucible, many knife makers have changed the steel that they use. In the case of Blind Horse Knives, they have taken their "Dealer" knives to the popular ATS-34. The new knives are flat ground, but otherwise the same as the original versions. I will have photos online tomorrow!
Rob Charlton of Damascus USA has been making knives of 500+ layer Damascus steel for over thirty years. We are now carrying some of the different models of knife blanks that he makes for makers who don't have the chance to forge the steel themselves.
I am finishing two knives from the V79M blank that is pictured above.
While the York show was not a success in any measure, I was able to pickup several knives from both Pennsylvania knife maker Todd Grimm and LT Wright of Blind Horse Knives. I am in the process of taking photos now and will have them online as soon as I can.
I do have a BHK Boat Tail Scandi in black micarta available.
